Information You Provide to Us

PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • When you participate in the interactive areas of our Services, certain information you provide may be displayed to other users, such as your name, photo, comments and other information you choose to provide; note: Never Search Alone users are not on our private web portal for CG Councils (which is what this language in this bullet refers to) – only in the global Slack community – and in the Slack community we explicitly turn off email so no one can be searched via email and no one can see into private channels, which each Job Search Council member is placed initially into;

  • In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation or legal process;

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of Company or others;

  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; and

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

We will not share personal information we collect about you with any nonaffiliated third parties, except for when required by law, or when requested or approved by you.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites is at your own risk. Minors’ Privacy Rights

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Your Privacy Rights

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You may review, correct or modify information maintained in your online account at any time by logging into your account and updating your profile information or by emailing us at memberhelp@collaborativegain.com. If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please email us at memberhelp@collaborativegain.com, but note that some information you provide may continue to be accessible and that we may continue to store information about you as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.Note: The ability to log in and review account information is only true for CG Council members because they have access to a private portal – i.e., we maintain no web portal profile for Never Search Alone participants.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California residents have additional privacy rights under applicable California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Note that we do not “sell” your personal information for monetary consideration.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third party for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing and send it to memberhelp@collaborativegain.com.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with us, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services. To request removal of such data, please contact us at memberhelp@collaborativegain.com, and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on our websites, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.
